Welcome to MidSouth Pug Rescue Inc, an nonprofit 501©3 corporation. We are a community of volunteers dedicated to the Pug breed.  Our mission is to ensure every Pug has a happy, healthy life, and are dedicated to help those in need, by providing medical treatment when necessary, and by finding each Pug a "forever home."

Our rescues come to us from many different sources; some have been found wandering the streets, sometimes owners can no longer care for a pug and turn them over to us; some have suffered abuse or abandonment; others have been rescued from puppy mills or hoarders.
Rescue is for anyone who wants to give a Pug a second chance. Some people don't have the time to raise a puppy.  A rescue has already been checked by a veterinarian, spayed or neutered and had existing health concerns treated. Many people who are already "owned" by a Pug find that adding a rescue to the family makes a perfect fit. We at MidSouth Pug Rescue strive to give homeless Pugs the life and dignity they deserve.
